Refunds & Returns Policy

At Mellowly Tea, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and our procedures.

1. Returns Eligibility

Due to the nature of our products (consumable goods), we can only accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The product is defective, damaged, or incorrect

  • The product is unopened and in its original packaging

  • The return request is made within 7 days of delivery

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Opened or used tea products

  • Products returned due to change of mind

  • Items not in original condition

3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of the product and packaging

We will:

  • Replace the item, or

  • Issue a full refund

4. Refunds

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed via your original payment method

  • Processing time may take 5–10 business days

5. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect item), we will cover return shipping costs

  • For any other approved returns, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs

6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, the order falls under the return conditions above.
